His legacy reached an unforgettable milestone with the creation of the legendary red-and-white shirts worn by Athletic Club de Bilbao during the historic first sailing of La Gabarra along the estuary. Following in his father’s footsteps, Jon Vela grew up immersed in the world of tailoring. From a young age, he absorbed the knowledge, work ethic, and passion for detail that defined his father.
